Each year in July the society holds its ever-popular Flower Show and Fete. New for 2023, the show will move to the centre of Petersham in The Russell School hall and its front playground. There are hundreds of entries across many classes including flowers, fruit and vegetable, cookery, arts and crafts and of course the junior classes.  The Fete run by the community is a traditional affair with Punch and Judy, face painting, side stalls, raffle and plenty of games to try your hand at. There is a tea stall brimming with home made cakes and lots of tea.
